DHS Commissioner Clyde L. Reese, III, Esq. announced several leadership changes within the Division of Child Support Services (DCSS) on October 1, 2012.
Effective October 9, 2012, Ms. Renorta R. Heard will serve as the Division’s Director and Ms. Tanguler Gray-Johnson will serve as the DCSS Deputy Director.
Renorta Heard has over 24 years experience with DCSS and has served in eight various positions ranging from an Accounting Technician to her current role as DCSS Deputy Director. Her leadership experience with DCSS also includes serving as an Assistant Regional Manager, Regional Manager and Director of Field Operations. She brings a wealth of child support knowledge to this position and a passion for helping families become self-sufficient.
Ms. Heard has served on both State and Federal Child Support Committees, such as the Georgia Commission on Child Support Guidelines and the OCSE Urban Academy. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in General Business from Fort Valley State University.
Tanguler Gray-Johnson has been appointed to serve as the DCSS Deputy Director. Ms. Gray-Johnson has over 20 years experience with DCSS and has served in many capacities including: Accounting, Customer Service and Region Manager for Region 8. Most recently she served as the Director of State Operations where she provided leadership and oversight to DCSS’s Contact Center, Director’s Communication Group, Financial Support Team, Policy and Paternity Unit and Outreach Programs, including the Fatherhood Program, Community Outreach and Problem Solving Court.
Ms. Gray-Johnson is a graduate of Valdosta State University with a B.B.A in Accounting and a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority.
