Intergovernmental Cases

Central Registry is the state unit that handles interstate cases. They will do their best to help you resolve any outstanding issues in your case.

If you live outside the State of Georgia and the other parent lives within Georgia please contact the case manager in the child support office closest to your home.

If you live in Georgia and the other parent lives in a different state, please contact the case manager in your local child support office.       

If you have already done this and an unresolved issue remains, please request that your local office contact the Central Registry in your state.

Please include:

  1. Your name.
  2. The names and social security numbers of both parents.
  3. Your email address.
  4. Your daytime telephone number.
  5. Your mailing address.

The information you send will be directed to the Division of Child Support Services' Central Registry. Central Registry is the state unit that handles interstate cases. They will do their best to help you resolve any outstanding issues in your case.
